Peter Maenhout

As Executive Vice-President Peter Maenhout isresponsible for the Gimv-XL fund and the Belgian buyout and growthcapital activities. Before joining Gimv, he was head of the Beneluxoffice for investment manager Amber Capital. After graduating as a Commercial Engineer(‘Handels- en Bedrijfseconomisch Ingenieur’) at the Catholic University ofLeuven K.U.Leuven (Belgium), Katrin started her career in 1993 as afinancial analyst at CERA Bank (currently KBC Bank) in Belgium.  In June1997, she obtained an MBA degree from the University of Chicago Booth School ofBusiness. During her MBA, Katrin worked an internship at the Equities Divisionof Merrill Lynch, London. Following this, she worked as a Management Consultantfor A.T.Kearney throughout Europe and South-Africa.  In 2000, she wasinvolved with the start-up of a Benelux Venture Services firm.

Katrin joinedQuest Management mid-2001 as an Investment Manager, responsible for the fund’sinvestments in private technology companies and venture funds..
